Coastal Electronics specialises in the design, configuration and installation
of communications systems for mine sites, surface and underground.

Underground systems use powered bi-directional amplifiers to propagate radio signals
along a leaky feeder cable. Systems can vary in size and complexity depending on the mines requirements, from a simple voice re-transmission type to the more complex which process voice, data and wireless technology.

Above Ground systems also vary in size and complexity, ranging from small
single channel types to multi channel, multi function facilities. Because the needs
of any mine are varied, we plan extensively in consultation with mine management
to ensure that all current and proposed future needs can be met.
