The LPY600 Log Periodic Yagi provides exceptionally broad bandwidth

The LPY600 Log Periodic Yagi provides exceptionally broad bandwidth coverage across the full UHF frequency range 500 to 800 MHz at
better than 2:1 VSWR with a consistent 6 dBi gain.
The high quality stainless steel construction ensures long term reliable service.

The Yagi boom is 47 cm long and the longest element 32 cm wide. and can be mounted in either horizontal or vertical plane as the application requires.
The 200 mm RG58 stranded cable tail is terminated with an N Type female connector.
Other connectors can be fitted upon request. A welded angle plate clamp is supplied to mount the Yagi to around mast up to 50 mm in diameter.

In practice although this antenna is more efficient across the entire band (500-800 Mhz), it has less gain and does not perform as well as the traditional yagi.
The yagi will provide around 70 meters of range where the LPY600 is around 40 meters.

It's strength lies in its size, construction, robustness and consistency of gain across the band.
